Tony Wild is a Staffordshire based artist who exhibits his paintings in London, Birmingham and Manchester. His work is also in the collection of the British Arts Council.

Throughout my career as an artist I have been captivated and, at times, obsessed by landscape.

Landscape for me is some kind of clock. Its workings are light, time and chance. The Cumbrian fells and its blankets of restless clouds is that clock; sometimes fast, sometimes slow, but never still. If by chance I can trap a moment of its passing I am more than pleased.
